Jodie Foster to Star in ‘True Detective’ Season 4 for HBO

Season 4 of HBO’s True Detective: Night Country will star Jodie Foster. This role seems like it would be a natural for Foster as she played Clarice Starling, a young FBI trainee who is hunting a serial killer, “Buffalo Bill”.
Here’s how HBO describes True Detective: Night Country: “When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the six men that operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.”
Jodie Foster will play the role of Detective Liz Danvers. Though Foster is a well-known movie star, this role will mark the first TV series for her as an adult.
There is no release date at this time as Season 4 of True Detective is currently in the development stages.
